I needed to use up the last beads from necklace kits and I had just enough beads to make some pretty crosses that would be perfect favors to use for Easter brunch.
The beads came in little plastic containers intended to make an individual necklace so the beads and the faux metal findings matched and were included in the package similar to this:
You can find collections of beads with metal findings at Michaels or JoAnn Fabrics.
Step ONE: Cut two pieces of 16gauge annealed wire one 8″ and the other 5″. Tie them together with 28 gauge wire.
Step TWO: Use bicone findings so they meet securely in the middle, and add the beads in a decorative pattern.
I only had one turquoise heart bead, so it was place in the center as a focal point.
Step THREE: At each end, use needle nose pliers to made a pretty curled end.
There is no right or wrong way to attach the beads, just have fun making a pattern!
These crosses go together sooooo fast and are a good way to use beads that you don’t have enough to make a bracelet or necklace.
These are so lovely! ❤
