Recently I found some unusual owl themed cocktail napkins at a fun store in Astoria, Oregon. I used copper medium weight ArtEmboss as the backing to make two owl themed versions.
These were so easy to make and they are truly OOAK!
Step One: Separate the napkin layers and use glue stick to attach the top layer of the napkin to regular printer paper. Let completely dry.
Step Two: Use glue stick that is intended for metal and attach the image to medium weight ArtEmboss or recycled tin (like a cookie tin). Let completely dry.
Step Three: Cover the top with a good coat of Diamond Glaze (Judikins) and dry completely. I use a hair dryer on hot/low speed and it dries in about 3 minutes.
Step Four: Use a tiny punch to make holes and secure a necklace chain.

I had a garage sale bracelet that I clipped the beads to decorate the bottom.

Hi again! I just finished ordering the owl necklace. 🥰 Some of what you do reminds me of the hobby club I was a member of all the years we were in Bowman. Our club was called The Dizzy Dabblers & we made so many different fun things throughout the years! Yes, it would be great to catch up with each other. Hard to believe how time has passed!
