Freebie Friday: Free Printable Lemonade Recipe Greeting Card

Mom sent me a fabulous recipe for lemonade that I could hardly wait to share and put it on the back of a greeting card. I floundered for a phrase theme because lemons automatically remind me of that famous saying: “When life hands you lemons… make lemonade.” That saying is a little overused in my opinion.

Since the recipe needs 6 lemons I did consider “When life hands you SIX lemons… make lemonade.” LOL

After quite a long search in my thesaurus for a fresh new lemon themed idea I went in the direction thinking of someone who life has handed lemons and they are making the best of it. “Cheer up, buttercup” is one of my best selling phrases on a greeting card or mixed media collage. I think it is message of encouragement and support.

The pitcher of lemonade looks very enticing and the recipe on the back won’t disappoint. Mom has had the recipe she clipped from her local newspaper about 25 years ago. It is perfect for a hot summer day and since you make a batch and store it in your fridge, it is very convenient to mix up a glass of pure refreshment whenever you want!
