I made this easy idea board for my studio with a gallery wrapped canvas I got at a garage sale. I can use it to keep track of new sayings I have discovered and inspirational ideas.
I got the canvas at a garage sale and the white wasn’t perfect so I covered it with a nice coat of gesso (a thick white acrylic paint that really covers imperfections.) I have a collection of floral themed die cuts which were perfect to decorate the corners and some pink and white bakers string to make the strands to attach my inspiration pieces.
I used hot glue to attach the die cut floral pieces after I wrapped the canvas with the baker’s string that I pulled tightly.
I used hot glue to hold the baker’s string in the back of the canvas.
This is hanging on my wall in the studio and I got a bag of the little clothespins at Dollar Tree to attach “today’s inspiration”!
Cute! 😀
