I am always looking for ideas to use up my washi tape collection that never seems to shrink! This was a really quick greeting card project.
I started with a Christmas tree shaped pieces of cardstock about 5 inches tall.
I have had this washi tape for about four years…it just lasts and lasts. However washi tape isn’t good forever. It has a shelf life of about 8 years.
I had fun covering the white cardstock and wrapped the washi tape over to the back side because some of the tape doesn’t stick well.
After I attached the tree with hot glue I scanned it into my computer and added the whimsical font plus a faded edge which makes a white card easier to trim to 5×7.
Enjoy!
