“Let your faith be bigger than your fear.” Such a sweet sentiment… but if fear is knocking at the door, that sentiment is a tall order!

I have a process I go through when times feel dark and that is how the light of faith turns on in my heart.

First, I remember that God is good. The circumstances don’t feel “good” but I know that I know that I know God is good! He turns everything to good (eventually) for those who trust in Him.

Next, God knows where I am. My negative circumstances are not a surprise to Him. I choose to draw close through prayer and reading the Bible (that’s where I get answers to overcoming the circumstances.)

Last, I look up to my Heavenly Father because He will help me overcome every obstacle. I have a lifetime of looking up and I can tell you for certain that faith overcomes fear!

So let your faith be bigger than your fear!
